    I've tried to ID this on my own and the world of algae is very large...I have so far discovered it could be one of many things...some harmful and some not harmful.
    So if I could get a little help on this before I begin transferring items to my new tank (8 more weeks) I would be very appreciative.
    It is beginning to spread a bit about the tank...some on both korillas also.

    Just looks like regular run of the mill algae due to high phosphates/nitrates to me

    I did have a spike awhile back ( bad water )...but its been good now for over a month...will it subside or just keep going?
