    Oops didnt realize you had stuff in it, yeah id drain it put in rodi water, then mix salt as you put it in.. My bad dont listen to me lol

    Yeah i learned the hard way last year when i setup my biocube about tapwater....and a few other things lol...this is new clean rock and all ro/di water!;D

    Great, the only thing that's gonna be tough is adding the water to the tank without premixing it. You could take out a certain amount of water from your tank, mix it outside, and return it, I mix 1.5 cups salt per 5 gallons. So if you knew Exactly how much water was in your tank, this would work. But because your water level isn't precisely to the top of your tank, you actually have slightly less than what your hold amount is. You can calculate what you would need for 65 gallons, i.e. 19.5 cups... and back it down to 16.5 cups, and keep count of the cups you mix outside of the tank, once you reach 16.5, wait 24 hrs and check you salinity. Did you buy a refractometer, or hydrometer. From what I read, the refractometer is more precise. But don't take my word for it, I don't own one.:square:

    If it were a smaller tank, you could just take out all the water, and mix it outside, but 65 gallons isn't something you can just put anywhere.
