    I have a lawnmower and he's doing well. I don't have a ton of algae in my tank but he's still a little fatty. I also have a diamond goby which is on top of the sand and doing a great job. I"m a newb so I can only tell you from what I've learned in the past 6 months.

    If you're looking for less algae then the lawnmower but they don't really get all clean. Extra turbo snails could help out.

    lawn mower blennies eat film not hair algae it would be worthless. so go with the fish that looks better to u
