I have been lurking around the local (Bozeman, MT) CraigsList for a while now, finally found the tank we wanted. $150 for a tank and a stand. I think it was a decent deal.

The original owner had this tank as a terrarium for a while so its been tested/sterilized at the moment in the garage.

Thinking Bean Animal overflow with coast to coast box...

The stand needs some reinforcement, looks like. Has anybody converted terrarium stand to aquarium stand?

Size comparison with 29 gallon. Its nice and big. Loving it already :)

    Being tested.

The original owner didnt have any idea about being used as aquarium, but it is made with 3/8" glass. I believe its strong enough for an aquarium, isnt it? How thick are yours who has 90 gallon tank? Any input is appreciated, TIA!!!

roger that. Bean animals are pretty cool! Yeah we got about 4 inches but the majority of it melted off. I like these late snows. If i were to get a new tank thats what I would do. Your tank is just a standard 90gal. My buddy was going to build a reef out of one and turned it into a terrarium as well. Just make sure there isn't any nasty containments and it will be great!

that is the same 90g set i have. that is an Aqueon tank and stand. the stand looks poorly made just by staples so surely needs reinforcements which i regret I DID NOT DO. was too excited to set up the tank that i forgot about the poor construction but it's still standing:)

^^ !!!!!!!! You are right!!! Its an Aqueon tank and stand!

How can you tell that its not as solid as you like besides just the looks of it inside? And the bottom piece inside the cabinet is wobbly and weak.. Im not gonna put 20+ gallon sump/fuge on it without reinforcing.
