got tired of overflow eating most of my flakes

    so i made a plastic thing that barely touches the top of the water and the food cant float into the over flow box :)

    Or you could soak the flake beforehand so it sinks ;) Just make sure you take that off while your not feeding, as surface skimming down to your equipment is VERY important.

    Yeah I have that same issue, but it really makes me mad when it sucks in the frozen food. I will have to try something like that.;D

    it's best to take a pinch in your fingers and rub them together under the water, this makes the flakes float under the surface and keeps the fish from gulping air when they eat it...read that on the web somewhere and sounded reasonable. I turn the pump off to feed, just don't forget to turn it back on ::) ;) .
