and... well.. its friday the 13 like you said... my birthday .. lol im thinking being born in that day takes bad luck away.

My daughter's goggles were so miserable that my wife went next door to borrow an el cheapo mask and snorkel from our neighbors. They were a big improvement over the goggles alone but she had to stand on another ladder beside me and plug the end of the snorkle every time I dove under because it didn't seem like a good idea for me to clear the a snorkel in the conventional manner while in the middle of our rec room. Only once was she too slow. Thankfully, I didn't drink enough to really effect the water level of the tank very much.

Oh shoot. I didn't even think about that. I was under those lights more than enough time to get cooked. Fortunately, only half of them were on because of my recent temperature issues. I don't think it would be a good idea to where suntan lotion the next time I do this either.

 

FTS showing the new (slightly altered) aquascaping. I had been wanting to move a few corals a bit and I took this opportunity to remodel.

 

Can't say I've ever done that before...kudos to actually being able to snorkel in your reef tank. kudos.

 

It makes for a good story but I'd be content if I never got to do it again.
