    New additions...

I just finished putting two more cleaner shrimp and a cleaner wrasse in the tank.

Earlier today I installed the support brackets for my VHO bulbs. I picked up the 454 bulbs when I got the new additions. Actually, I went to the store for the bulbs and the shrimp and fish were just a bonus. I actually got to the store after normal hours and wrote up a 2 page shopping list of some of the absoloutly amazaing corals that they've gotten in over the past week.

So I've been told. Unfortunately, I'm seeing some white spots on my tangs. I don't think that 84 degrees helped anything last week. Since I can't treat my display tank and I don't have any realistic way to get 18 fish out of that monster, a cleaner wrasse seemed like a worthwhile thing to try. I also added some garlic and vitamin C. The UV has been running since the tank was set up. I think that that about exhauts my VooDoo options.

My tomini has ish right now.... i cant get him out without tearing the tank apart....tooofast.

I am varying up my diet. Soaking all food in Garlic, feeding a little more often. less light period-- although im doing that anyways to acclimate my tank to more t5 lamps.

Might get a neon goby but probably not.

Are they still eating and active?

All the fish are still eating and active. As a matter of fact, I haven't noticed any behavior changes at all. I find this encouraging and I'll just continue to keep an eye on things. I was planning on increasing my feeding anyway. After reading your post, I may try to feed the same amount in the evening and add a morning feed.

Well as long as they're happy and active, if it is ich or some parasite it should be just like a common cold to them. Hopefully the cleaner shrimp and cleaner wrasse will help get rid of it.

Did you know scuba regulators run at 125 psi? Most Home improvement compressors can push that much. Why not get a small compressor and convert a regulator to hook up to the it. Then you can just run the regulator hose into the tank and not have to worry about refilling tanks or even carrying them. Here's a site that tells you how:
