Awesome progress as always. Every time I decide to read the updates on your tank is about 5 pages longer!

Have you given any thought to a copper banded butterfly?

Hey GTS, how do you like the Bimini Pink? What made you choose it over, say the oolite (or whatever it's called)?

I agree, it would be a crime not to have a shark in there. Looks like you have plenty of sand space for it to hang out in.

i belive catsharks and bamboo sharks both need fine sand :p
(they are two of the main, afordable ones)

and they will eat anything they can get their mouth around (fish, inverts) ;D

I have a hard time getting excited about a CBB. I'm told they are pretty fragile and they may or may not cause trouble for the nem and the clams already in my tank. Since my tank is so big, I could be a true nightmare to get any misbehaving fish our of there so I'm trying to live by the motto that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. God forbid that I ever get any aiptasia in there. That might cause me to change my tune about CBBs. Also I did tempt fate a little bit with a kole and a chevron tang in their together. So far so good. I'm praying that they continue to play nice as they mature together.

I really like it. It looks great. Not much thought went into my choice though. It's what my LFS stocks and has in their reefs (1200gal, 900gal, and a bunch of little tanks like 200-300gal)

Thanks for looking out for me jakeh24. Do you other guys have any idea how much it would cost me to feed a shark? I'm thinking he'd eat enough to buy a new car within the first week.

ty so much and a shark or a ray would be sick but you could probably say bye to any small fish that are out and about on the bottom

actually not as much as you would think.
the guy at our lfs use to keep them in a big shallow tank.
as far as food he kept a school of chromis in ther as "snacks" and you would probably only need to feed a full grown one 2 or 3 squid a day
