What kind of fish did you pick up? Or is it a surprise?

It scared the heck out of me but there was amazingly little damage. The tank is 1" thick glass with a steel frame around the top and it wasn't bothered at all. There were a few little pieces of wood that were sheared off of the canopy but these don't look like they will affect the function or appearance of things. Thanks to the way my bulbs and fixtures are installed, none of the bulbs broke and I'll know in another 2 hours that they all still turn on. I had to do a little bit of work to get the canopy correctly lined up again and get the sides pushed back in but it seem like overengineering pays off.

I got 4 Borbonius Anthias, an Achilles Tang, a Vlamingi Tang, and an Engineer Goby. I also picked up 4 sand sifting starfish, a red tiled starfish, and a huge green bubble tip anemone. That reminds me, I got a mated pair of Gold Stripe Maroon Clowns as well. The Clowns are in a tank by themselves with the anemone that they were already hosting.

Achilles tangs are my favorite, I was kinda hoping to see one of these.

How is your CuC doing so far?

All in all the CUC is doing a great job. I do have some red cyano algae. It's not at plague proportions but it's not the highlight of my tank either. I pickub up 2 bottles of slime away to see if that helps but I've got to get an airstone set up before I treat with it.

Here are a few shots of the 40 breeder that I thought had the 'leak'. One of my original thoughts was that spray from the bubbles caused by flow comming down from the tank above might be all or part of the problem. I rough cut a piece of acrylic to cover that part of the tank but it did no solve the problem.

Here you can see some of the evidence of water coming from that 40 gal

The blue spotted toby has been in the tank for a few weeks

Sorry about the drama, but the new fish will make up for it :)
