    Having a 700g tank..............................thousands of dollars.
Having to fill it up with livestock..............also thousands of dollars
Being able to go diving in your own tank...................PRICELESS

I've been looking for some Purple Lyretail Anthias. I believe I've only seen them at Big Al's once a while ago. I'd love a male and a couple females if possible. They are so striking to look at. I have an orange male and female now. I wonder what would happen if I found some and put them in? My orange lyretail is as pushy as mother nature makes them. Anybody have any idea?

    Hi GTS,

I have been watching your build in awe for some time now and needed to finally post to say that it is one of the most amazing set ups that I have ever seen. You have put so much time and effort into this amazing tank and hobby. Congrats! it's beautiful! I hope to see updates soon but understand how busy you may be.

Keep us posted when you can.

Sorry to be so long between posts but sometimes life intervenes. I've been very busy getting a new surgery center running and preparing to take over services at another hospital for my group. On top of that we had a death in the family. While this was going on my fish got sick and I lost a heart wrenching number of them. For a while there it was really upseting to even walk into the same room with the tank as every day there was another dead fish or two or three. Things look like thay have finally stabilized and some of the fish that looked like they were goners for sure actually pulled through. There were a few pleasant suprises as well like the long tentacle anemone that disappeared into the rocks 8 weeks ago actually reappeared and look completely fine. I got a few projects done as well... I finally have my chiller hooked up. I go the calcium reactor on line as well. Things are still pretty busy so please bear with me if I don't post quite as often but eventually I will get around to posting some pictures and a list of the surviving fish.

very unlucky, life sucks like that sometimes. A problem after probelm right when you can't spend time to fix it properly. Especially when sometimes there isn't anything you can do.

Importantly though, don't give up. Pick yourself up and go at it again, pretty soon you'll have the tank back to better than before :)
