It really is disappointing to see these large tanks build always seem to go this route. I know how busy GTS must be with his livelyhood. I hope GTS isn't letting his set backs stop him from posting. I thought he was on the right track. I would have qt'd everything an gone a bit slower but it sounded like his LFS was guiding his decisions.

I know GTS and I am sure that his life is kind of busy right now. I do have to defend the LFS as I have the same one. This particular LFS is probably the most knowledgable in the mid-atlantic area and does not guide our decisions. Ultimately the choices we make for our tanks are our responsibility and not that of the LFS'.

I have a good solid LFS and they've told me on many occasions not to do this and not to do that and when to introduce fish and the pace you have to go with. I still feel they misled him a little and it's human nature to want to have an instant reef but we all know and preach on this site to go slow and let it grow. I hope he overcomes this and returns to this thread and just levels with us. We've been following his thread for a long time and are concerned. That's all. IMO:)

I'm reading your thread and I've only made it as far as the 250th post and you hit on a topic that is very near & dear to me. Boats!:cheesy: I have a jet ski and a pontoon(that I co-own with my dad) and I can personally tell you that BOAT dose stand for Break Out Another Thousand! Especially the jet ski a few years ago, and both of them this summer for that matter.

I really love this thread! I can't wait to see where it goes and what it looks like today. Keep up the good work!
