My little adventure in babysitting last night forced me to cancel getting my plumbing finished up but I did get a chance to finish putting a nice thick coat of epoxy down on the concrete floor of the fish closet. I think it looks a little nicer than before. Now I just need to give it a few days to harden. I also ordered a little accessory for my canopy tonight. Hopefully it will be here before the end of the week.

Looking real good so far. I really like the design of your stand. It's very elegant.

GTS, I've been a lurker here for awhile. I just joined yesterday just to comment on this thread. You've done an excellant job and I can't wait to see this tank with it's inhabitants added. I'm a sparky also and second ReefSparkys suggentions on the in use covers. They can be setup to open up or sideways. Is it possible to ask what the manufacture of the tanks contact info is?

Thank you Matt, I'm honored by your (and everyone else's) kind words.

I would gladly tell the the manufacturer of the tank if I could pry it out of my LFS guy. Each time I ask, he tells me that it's a couple of guys down in Texas who used to work for Oceanic in their custom tank division and then split off on their own when Oceanic started to back away from the custom side of the business. I can tell you that these guys really do care about treating the customer right and the tank looks fantastic. They also made the custom 135gal that I'm using for my sump and that is a great tank as well. The best way that I have for you to get a quote on one of their tanks is to go through Joe Genaro at Fish World Fish World - Richmond, VA- Ultimate Saltwater Aquariums
Joe is a super guy and will do right by you. He's been in the business for about 30 years and has custom customers all over the country.

Were you able to spec the tanks exact dimensions? Is there any warranty on the tank. I'm a fan of AGA tanks for the 7yr warranty, that said I've got a 90G classic oak in my living room and a modern oak 210 in my finished basement. I get nervous quite often about any leaks. Now granted I've never had on leak a drop but there's always the chance. I can't wait to see your amazing tank stocked as I'm sure everyone here is.

I should have some more pics later today. I've got almost 300lbs of ReefCrystals salt sitting by my side door right now. Shipping from Drs Foster and Smith set me back about $17. Not bad at all. I picked up my 200gal mixing vat yesterday so now I get to go clean it up before installing it and beginning to fill it with RO/DI.
