Yeah, my SO blew out her left ACL the day before my B day last march while she was skiing.

That bill was over 25k, so there was my new mustang GT there. Good thing she has health insurance.

You guys should have seen Iraf's pictures :p ::)

And your DT's width is the same as our tanks length...geez. And then your sump is 3x the size of our tank. Your system is 10x the volume of our system. BLEAH :D

I spent another 3 hours working on the tank yesterday. We dry fit a lot of the plumbing and came up with a list of fittings that we still needed to pick up. I had to get a little creative to find a place to fit the UV sterilizer… a Current Gamma 120W unit. It’s tough to see the scale here but it’s over 3ft long and 2ft wide. We wound up putting the unit above the salt water vat.

Here’s a shot of the ballast box for the sterilizer above the 30g tall quarantine tank.

Waaaay up high. The ceiling in here is 10’. Even with that ladder, I still get to stretch to change the bulbs.

you figured out how long it's going to take to fill this beast up with your ro/di unit?

Theoretically, my RO/DI will make 150gpd so that would be about 5 days BUT... I don't have a full 65psi at the RO unit so I'm not sure right now how big a hit I'll take on my RO production. My guess is that 100gpd won't be a problem. Once I factor in some down time to mix the salt and transfer water to the system, I'm probably looking at 8-10 days.

I could decrease the time quite a bit if I just fill it with the garden hose. I get 25 gal/min out of my hydrant so I could have this baby topped up in about 30 minutes.

Yesterday, we also got the overflows and returns plumbed. This is a shot of one side. The other side is identical with 1” return lines splitting into 2 LockLine outputs. The Durso standpipes are 1½” diameter. They have an expansion fitting in them which allows me to raise or lower the standpipe height by 4”.

A few preliminary plumbing pictures: Reeflo Barracuda to 1.5” union ball valve through the 3-way to a 90deg sweep and into the 1.5” Wye for my two 1.5” return lines. The lower conglomeration is a 1.5” to four 1” ports with ball valves. The third arm of the 3-way will have a 1” ball valve for future use.

Can any of you ID this?

If I’m lucky, I’ll have it installed by the end of the day.
