    A picture of some of the lighting that I hope to get wired in the newt few days.
    Sunlight Supply LumenMax Elite reflectors and CoralVue 400W dimmable electronic MH ballasts. I originally planned 3 fixtures over the tank but with my tank brace in the center I was worried that a light in the middle would be shaded too much. Instead, I'm going with 4 fixtures which will allow me to hold the lights to either side of the brace.

    I got some good pointers from Jan at FishWorld. She really has a designer's eye and takes decorating a tank every bit as seriously as decorating a living room.

    Yes, she does! Her tank in the back is phenomenal! Did you hear that her green slimer spawned????? Joe got pictures of it. They said it lasted for about an hour.

    and 4 six foot VHO's just to add a little bit more blue to the tank. Does anyone have any experience yet with the new 454 VHO bulbs?

    Yes, I have 2 on my tank and I absolutely LOVE them. But I will say, they add more than a "little bit of blue". But I like it more blue.
