We liked the fieldstone so much that we decided to carry it around to the walls

The masons did a good job with the Travertine for the floor of the wine cellar as well

17 kW standby generator. There was no way I was going to put this much heart and soul into a tank only to have it crash due to a power failure. Been there. Done that.

Pulling cable and running it through conduit to the new generator.

ReefSparky might have noticed the big box on the wall in some of the earlier pictures. It's the 200 amp automatic transfer switch that I've had since I built the house 8 years ago.

It's a little tough to make out but you can see 3 electrical junction boxes on the wall where the stand is going to go. You can also just make out a 2" dia PVC pipe that runs through the wall between the wine cellar and the fish closet. This is my drain line for the display tank.

That's a nice looking home you have there, congratulations, on a well planned build, on both the tank and remodel/addition.

Pictures of my aquarium stand being built. 78"W x 39"D x 36"H. I had originally planned for the stand to be 42" tall which would have been a nice height to view while standing. This would have been really nice because I would have had lots of height to work under the tank. Unfortunately, it also would have put the top of the tank at almost 8' off the floor. I'm going to need a ladder as it is, so I lowered the stand height to 36".
