That's some system for water changes! I notice a lot of air bubbles coming out the returns. That happens to me when the sump is low.
You may want to wait a while on the skimmer as the reservoir cup looks clear. Check it every couple weeks but the rule of thumb that I've read on this site is to wait until the water cycles before running the skimmer as it won't work anyway. I'm not a scientist or anything that's just what I've read here so if anyone can add to that I'm always listening. The tank is looking great. The rocks are amazing. Keep it up.:cheesy:

Here is the tub that I'm using for my RO top-off supply.Coming off the right side you may be able to see the black supply tubing that runs to my sump and the white power cord for the ATO pump.

Here is an interior view. The float valve to cut flow from the RO/DI is at 12:00 and the pump for the Tunze Osmolator is at the right side of the tub.

I had to mount the control box much lower than would have liked because I was limited by the 2 m length of the cords running to the sensors in the sump.

From the Osmolator control box, I had to fish the sensor wires about 5 feet under the salt water vat and through a small hole in the far wall to get to the sump on the other side.

Once I had a line through the wall I still had to crawl into the stand an retreive it from the behind the far side of the 135 gal sump.

Here is a closer view of the optical sensor and the float sensor in place. You might be able to make out the hole in the plywood back of the stand where the wires (and also some flex PVC return lines come through). You can see that there's a lot more flow coming in from the right (skimmer) side than from the left (refugium) side.

Getting the sensors and top off supply line fished through there was a real PITA but at least I left a line running through there so the next time that I need to get something fished, it should be a lot easier.

Just got back from seeing this tank in person. Folks, the pitcures do not do it justice! It is a little difficult to understand the awesomeness (if that is a real word) of this beautiful tank. And the organization is just incredible.

GTS, THANK YOU!!! For letting me be one of the first to get a "tank tour". Indeed an inspiration. I am super impressed with the cabinetry and the scale. I certainly hope you can have the RRC meet in November. I will be looking forward to seeing fish in the tank. That cross hatch swimming around in that big tank would sure be purty!!!

My heart would still be in my throat everytime the remote lifted the canopy off....but way cool!!

Thanks again for the rock. I will let you know how it turns out.

Glad you could make it. Bring your other half next time and I'll be looking for pictures of the new aquascaping.

Your tank is amazing. Great build. You have given me some great ideas for my next build. P.S. I have that same ladder and love it.

My wife loves that ladder better when it's back in the garage.
