Hey GTS, you mentioned your concern about fish jumping out of the tank well, I was too so I cut some eggcrate 12" wide and cut the length to fit in the inside the tank top brace. I have a canopy similar to yours and I figured if a fish jumped out the front half of the top then the canopy would catch him and he'd probably wiggle his way back in but with an open back it would be hard for the fish to jump out the back of the tank with the eggrate in the way. This also makes it easy to feed the fish and do simple stuff without it being in the way. Well so far no problem.:)

    lmao haha puffer chick.... ;D

mixed feelings having BLACK and WHITE clowns.... now there is where you see unity.
one thing i never understood is why is it that the black tang is way more expensive than the yellow tang.. ( numbers of them maybe?)
IMO yellow tang looks better in a tank just because it adds color. but black tangs look awesome as well **ninja style**:party-smi

When was the last time you saw a bunch of them in your LFS? I've seen schools of yellow tangs and hippo tangs. I've seen many purple tangs and sohal tangs but not in a group as they keep them in separate tanks. I've seen less than a handful of black tangs in all my years in the hobby. How many Camry's have you seen compared to Rolls Royce's. The black tang is the ultmate tang for those that can afford it. It is rare and hence the high price. Supply and demand.;D

Theres a store in Jax. Fl that has one. I was told 500 for them to start to even think of selling. They are a beautiful fish but I can buy alot of beautiful fish for that price LOL. My luck I would buy it walk out the store with it and get attacked by a herd of cats and have to watch them eat it LOL

See, in my mind they're the same exact fish. Only they're different colors. One's beautiful bright yellow, the other is boring black. If I didn't know the price of either fish, I'd still prefer the yellow over the black. Because the only thing matte black is good for is blending into the shadows, and honestly I'd rather have fish NOT do that. I want bright beautiful fish.

If everyones tank looked the same with the same fish this would be a boring hobby. how many times have we changed something in our tank to make it look better?I actually like looking at different fish/tanks and seeing the beauty in all of them.
