Well well well, GTS you are on a roll! I can't believe you have the knowledge to do this. I've been reading the last ten pages or so to get caught up on your thread. I have to laugh about the idea of snorkling into your tank but there may not be any other way. I'm sure you are aware that such an idea has to be given a lot of thought and a wet suit would have to be a must. This is just off the top of my head but hair and body oil might not be cohesive with inhabitants. You could couple it when you are doing a big water change and the water level is down enough but man I would be so very very careful to not fall in.
I gotta laugh when the subject of catching a fish in an established reef comes up.;D I can't imagine it. You would have to dismantle the reef which is rediculous to even think about doing. Oh sure there are products on the market to help you but with a 48" depth I find that hard to believe? I have had a few fish disappear and I know my shrimp ate them. They are the scavengers of my tank. If anything dies they bury 'em.

The tank looks awesome just keep those pics coming!

I wouldn't bother counting.. When I got my order from him of 25 snails, I counted until 20 and when I realised there were still about 30 more in the bag I was pretty excited.. for an order your size, there will probably be a lot more than 750

The blasto and brain look a little tweaked. Are they being blasted by too much water or maybe just still adjusting to your tank?

Funny how your full tank shot doesn't really give a good representation of how big the tank is. How far back did you have to stand to take it?

I was watching mtv cribs and this guy had a huge tank the size of yours and the person who serviced it was in there with scuba gear. He also had a shark too!

That was the one that i got more than i ordered. Im pretty sure john takes a shovel and scoops atleast the number that was ordered into a bag.

If he was to count em, i hope he put on a white coat and counted them like a pharmacist filling a reef Rx...

Depending on which FTS, the camera was 8-12 feet away.

I wish we could swing by  If you've just had the coral for a few days, I wouldn't worry much about it but if they don't plump up in a week or so, I'd be a bit concerned.

hey can you add a video.. i mean to really appreciate how big your tank is ( and see everything all at once), there is nothing better than a vid.

if a pic is a thousand words. then im gessing a video should be a thousand words per second? or something like that. lol ;D
