    When your lfs tells you your buying saltwater so you do a water change on a ten gallon tank. Then you check your salinity and its bottomed out, turns out you got freshwater. Awesome...

    No I didn't lose anything. Who am I kidding, I have one tomato clown fish lol. Shes a tough lil thing, she's been through worse than that. Wish it woulda killed some of the bristle worms though lol...

    the LFS may have made a mistake, but ALWAYS check the water before you use it. As much their fault as yours if you use it.

    Yes, true, nightster should have check SG level. But how can you call that a mistake? Not only was it low salt level, but not salt water at all...

    This is why i stopped buying my water from my LFS and bought the RO unit. Their salinity was never what it was supposed to be (never fresh though).
