    I had to ask as I see where many say they do cut it . and I have actually seen guys use scissors so as to not harm the plants and cause any undo stress on them LOL

    Thank you guys for all our info its great. Looks like I will be putting it on op. light cycle. DO you recomend the hour overlap before and after? I read it also helps with ph balance overlapping your lights. In my pic. could you tell me whats to much, 1/2a tank 3/4 tank full seems that this is very important to preventing spores.

    The reason it keeps Ph up when ran on Reverse Photo period is the plants had taken up CO2's in the dark and release oxygen in the light at night for the main tank . What you have now is about perfect just let it grow until you have over double what you have now you will know the light won't penertrate to bottom toss it all out except for about what you now have a few good hand fulls .. You'll learn and know what to do..
