    Actually, thinking a little more about it, bubbles will have the tendency to float, and they could technically cut the siphon, but it all depends on how much flow you have through it, I believe. But if water is fed from the top and the output is also at the top I really doubt it will lose siphon anytime soon, if it ever does. With input and output located at the top it seems as if any rogue bubbles would get siphoned out just as fast as it comes in.

    Not so far. I am using phosguard though. Just did my first swap out over the weekend when phosphate levels went up slightly. The used media was yellow colored. New is white.

    I am liking this a lot. Easy to deal with.
