I have a ToadStool Leather that has finally opened for the past 4 day's and closed today for about 5 minutes and is open again. I have noticed some gray area's on him and there are no tentacles where the spot's are. Is there something I could do for him? These gray places are in area's where tentacles should be. Thank's
    Danny

I think these are areas where he is starting to slough, which is perfectly normal. As long as he has enough flow, just leave him be.

His tentacles are coming back, a week or so ago I put in a skimmer and waited a few days and let it work it out since I have no fish and was going to do a top off with saltwater to keep my SG accurate and I really blew it. My SG dropped 2 point's and I blew it again and brought it back up in a few minutes so he had a shock from it. Sorry my bad. I have two barrells one with 30 gallon of distilled water and the other was for water change and I used th ewrong water. Bad deal on my part but we know what they do in a SG drop now....so it wasnt so bad after all...he is pulling thru and feel llike an a$$ (again)
