    What is better to use for putting under your RapidLEDs.

    Thermal Grease?

    Is the heat sink drilled and tapped?

    drilled/tapped 6" x 20" heatsink.

    If it's drilled/tapped go with grease, the pads are an alternative to thermal adhesive. The pads aren't meant to be as permanent as the adhesive, but you can remove both (not always easily) if you wanted to.

    Could I use the pads under it anyways and screw them down? to avoid the use of any grease?
