Great Deals

I live in south Florida but mainly buy my corals in port saint lucie. I got a 4 head Duncan there for $40. Now it has 11 heads.

My best deal was a lfs going out of business all corals were $15!! Bought about $300 worth and gave some to a good friend of mine. Included a 1/10 euro USA chiller for $50.

 

I entered a $5 raffle for a brand new 75 gallon tank, stand, lights, sand(dead), and top and I won.. So huge tank (for me) for $5 is a hell of a deal..

 

WOW 25 a head? thats insane!!!!! but around here duncans at a LFS go for 10 bucks a head so even at ten a head thats a steal for you



best deal i ever got was a 50 head frogspawn for 40 bucks and 35 heads of duncan for 50 bucks, guy was getting out and jus wanted them gone

 

Man that's awesome. And I just got excited for winning a drawing for a $25 gas card.

 

I felt pretty good about the four heads of sun coral I got from Alex for $15.

A couple heads had been cut into in the fragging process, but they all survived.

 

im still pumped about it.. I just need to get the tank here to where I live currently to set it all up.. then another build thread with very indepth look at everything to make it a bad arse reef..

 

Maybe my sun coral was a steal too then . It has 19 heads +/- two or three. There are more heads than I can count right now because they're blooming. When they were contracted I got the count above which included small ones and ones that haven't extended yet. Feeding them is fun though, put 'em in a tupperware bowl and float them while I spot feed. My corals are being spoiled right now because my fish population is at zero .

Oh and bama, that's a really good deal. Where is it that you don't have it yet? I think my 75 was a good deal, but yours was a little better.
