    Greetings one and all...

Just made a couple of purchases from "piece-of-the-reef",.. an eBay store/user.
It was recommended by fazool666. "our 3reef member"

I must add, that it is a great store. As with anywhere some prices are better than others...but that being said, I purchased a 2" x 2" frag. of yellow polyps....and a purple tube anemone, as well as the 1000+ amphipods / copepods / mysis.

The Anemone was way bigger than expected...very healthy...took straight to eating and settled into the sand bed quickly.

The 1000+ amphipods / copepods / mysis... I Received 4 sponges that were overflowing with life...I would say Thousands of creatures..not just a thousand.

The yellow polyps..I was a bit dissapointed with the frag. of polyps...beings they said a 2x2 frag...well it was a 2x2 rock...but it only had 7 polyps, but very healthy and growing....so not a problem overall.

Shipping was 22.00...for the first item and 1.00 for any item after that...shipping price got messed up and they corrected it and credited my account immediately.....good deal...Was shipped fed-ex and arrived ,from Florida to California in 21 hours.

I give this site a Positive with 5 out of 5 stars. Worth your while to bookmark this seller.

Just thought I'd share a reputable dealer..Have a great day everyone.
    LG

I have purchased from them before also. One of three starfish arrived dead (which I half-way expected) and they credited my account immediatedly. Christina does a really good job.

HMMMMMM maybe there is a way to lure them here as a sponsor. I have been checking them out for quite awhile and will be getting some things from them in the future.

They are kind of local to me in Florida and I was searching craigslist one day. There was a person who posted and ad bashing piece of the reef. I guess they went and bought some stuff at their place and were very unhappy. I don't remember the whole post and what the beef was and I looked for it on craigslist just now, its not there anymore. Just a heads up. I have no experience with them so I don't know personally. It is just what I saw...

Their store is based out of Tampa, which is where I'm at. I sent a message to see if I could do local pickup after ordering, hopefully I can get that worked out.

There are always disgruntled customers out there. I recommend them without reservation. They are top notch.
