Has anyone heard anything more about the shark attack in San Diego? I grew up swimming/spear fishing for halibut in Solana Beach.

I haven't heard anymore about the attack, but i wouldn't think it being a Great White would all that unusual. They can actually be found in many water temperatures (they have even been seen in the Bahamas). Did you see any other types of sharks while spear fishing?

Only seen leopard sharks(harmless very cool looking). Always wondered while carrying a bag of freshly speared halibut though. I've seen Blue sharks, Threshers and, Makos in the deaper waters though.
