    Sorry to be the co-bearer of bad news, but as Zach said...It doesn't eat algae. It can't eat algae, and won't eat algae. It also won't eat other nudibranchs, anemones, or corals. It's an obligatory sponge feeder. It would eat sponges, if you had the right kind in your tank, but since it didn't hitchhike in on sponge, there is about a 100% chance you won't be able to feed it. It is a beautiful creature, but unfortunately, it will starve to death in a few months in your tank, maybe less depending on how long it's already been starving. If it's crusing your tank, it's probably searching desperately for something to eat.
