At first I thought it was green because of my actinics, but then i turned on my 10k bulbs and sure enough, still green. Some type of Aiptasia?

tentacles look a little stringy to be a feather duster, and they don't retract when disturbed. My guess is its definitely some type of hydrazoa: Hydroid

Could someone refresh my memory on the tentacles retracting and identification. I read somewhere that if they retract they are one thing, and if they don't they are something else. I had an aiptasia before but my Turbo Snail took care of it.

This green thing is pretty interesting.

feather duster worms retract inside their tube when disturbed, but so do alot of polyp corals. Feather dusters retract instantly, corals are slower to retract.

Also, feather dusters have a feathery crown that moves food to the mouth of the worm, where most polyp corals and anemones have stringy wavy tentacles.

What about aiptasia? I was told that was what I had, and if I touched it, there was instant retraction.
