This algae seems to be spreading slowly. I have not tried yet Algae magic which I has been given mixed reviews on. If I stir it up it only comes back. I have gravel cleaned but not all the way down to the glass. I used to for fun find bristle worms and get them out with tweezers. Maybe I don't have enough to eat the algae? Do worms eat algae or just detritus? Could it be a bacteria?

excess nutrients is the cause of algae but it looks as though this is growing in a low flow area. you may want to position a power head so that the areas get a little more flow.

I have a Koralia 1 on both sides of tank in the upper back corners and pointed downwards. I can see some flow at the bottom.

It may not be a matter of how much flow but rather where the flow is going. Everything has trouble spots in their tanks where flow just doesn't get. In my case things have grown and now block the flow to other things. Unfortunately it's not stock answer. Try adjusting 1 of the power heads so it is at a different angle. This maybe all it takes
