green algea

    I have green alagea growing in my crushed coral bottom of the tank almost daily. Is this an issue. Tank set up for about two months. 10 gal experimenal tank with 4 fish, a feather duster and two frags on around 7 pounds of LR...

    pic needed too many types of green algae. you probably refering to hair algae?

    10gal with all of those inhabitants and only 2 months old?

    Does the algae look hairy?

    I know it's a lot of stuff for a small tank so fast but it was a birthday present for my wife and she obssessed. I can't seem to see how to attach or include pictures now but I will figure it out. Everything sems to be doing fine with the exception of the algea. It looks kind of like fine short grass. Very speratic in the tank.

    id manually remove it it might be green hair algae which is bad news its so hard to get rid of if its just on you sand though take it out with your hand before it spreads
