I got a green brain coral through mail order with about 5 other corals about a week ago. The ones I have seen in the store seem to breathe and get smaller and bigger in size. Mine doesnt seem to do any of that stuff. It appears the other coral I got with it are thriving well. What would be the normal behavior? Other than what I mentioned it appears to be doing fine. Good color and everything.
    Thx

there are about 6 billion different types of coral that are considered brain corals. Do you have a species?? Could you post a pic??

Ya it does look kinda hard. I do like it quite a bit though. Pretty cool looking coral.

I got the one that seems to be pretty common. mostly grees, but when the actinics or the led's are on it just has a flourecent green glow. Pretty cool. The brain along with 4 zoas and a electric torch coral are my first corals ever and good for me, a beginner. I'm just trying to start off with easier coral and as I add them move into the more demanding coral. As long as I feel comfortable with them.
