That's why they are morile, if they really want to move and are unhappy they will. Of course if your water parameters are off and there is no real happy spot, then that is a very different story.

    Hi GraviT!

You'll enjoy your BTA. Just be patient and let him settle in. He'll find the right spot for him. I bought a green BTA about 4 months ago. I also have PC lighting. 2x 96 watt 10000k and 2x 96 watt actinic 03. He hid back inside the cavern for awhile and then he eventually started coming out the cavern and now he takes up the middle of my tank. I've had to move some corals around because of him and his size. He had gotten absolutely huge. A couple of weeks before the frag workshop in Dallas, it split. :eek:That was pretty amazing! I gave it to Amanda at the workshop. The "mother" BTA seems bigger than before with really big fat tentacles. At the rate mine is growing it wouldn't surprise me if he splits again before too long. He just eats what ever is floating around in the water when I feed the fish. Every now and then I give it a silverside for a treat and it is fun to watch him eat. Often times the clown will take food over to it. It looks like he's trying to feed the BTA and the BTA does often times eat it but from what I understand the clown is really just storing food for itself latter on. Your clowns will enjoy having their own anemone and you'll really enjoy watching them together. They area very entertaining to watch and very whimsical.
    Have Fun! ;D

The BTA has been in the tank for almost a month now, so I'll continue to be patient. I re-arranged some of my rock recently and the anemone got turned around in the process and is now facing the front. It seems to be content where it is and looks to be growing. Hopefully, my clowns will figure it out sooner or later.

I think my clowns are tank raised, wonder if this would make a difference. If they have never been shown what to do, would instinct take over eventually?

My tank raised true perc took about 2 months to take to my rose BTA. When I added her mate a few weeks later, he took to it immediately upon introduction to the tank. He literally went from bag to anemone :)

My captive raised clown took over 1 month to figure things out. Instinct will take over.

I hope mine get the idea! I'm starting to wonder if they are thinking about spawning. The larger one of the pair, female I guess, has started working on an indentation in the sand in the front corner of the tank. Not sure if she is just trying to get cozy, or has something else in mind.
