green bubble tip

Ive had my green bubble tip anemone in my tank for about 2 months now and have noticed that the one side of it never fully inflates like the other side does. it was fine for a week or 2 then for some reason just stopped inflating the one side. any ideas?

 

Is it being bothered by something? like clowns? or is that part getting blocked from the light?

 

clowns havnt shown any interest in it and theres no coral on that side of the rock to bother it

 

Is there direct flow hitting it in that spot?

 

its in pretty low flow. I figure if it was being irritated by something or the flow was to much then it would move but it has stayed in that spot since its been in the tank

 

there may be a little war between the palys and the nem, i noticed that some of the palys are closed, they might be stinging each other, i believe the nem will win the war if thats whats going on, you may want to move one just to see if that may help.

 

I think they look closer then they really are. they just came with some live rock I got, so I wont miss them if they do get stung and die.

thanks, we got a few of these green ones in at my work and this one was crazy bright compared to the others so I had to snag it before anyone got a chance to buy it first
