What do you guys think, is this green coraline on my rocks? I honestly wasn't familiar with the concept but I sent John Maloney an email looking for some more CUC advice and he asked me if the green algae covering all my rocks (the reason for my email to him) was maybe coraline. The stuff does look pretty adherent to the rock. I definately doesn't wave in the breeze like the algae I was so successful at cultivating in my old tank.

The green stuff came on pretty fast and is covering almost all the previously bare rock. I also have just started to notice the appearance of some red and purple coraline. The red and purple are mixed in with the green, typically on the more knobby little bumps on the rocks.

i have the same stuff one some of my rock. i was thinking either coralline or the start of GHA, but it stay flat on rock for maybe over a month now. it just spreads laterally, so i think it's coralline.

Looks like Coraline to me. Try to scrape some and if it is encrusted it's Coraline.
