I do agree it can look very similar to coralline, but that goes against everything that distinguishes coralline as a red algae. It can be pink, red, purple, yellow blue white or very light green/grey. But won't be dark green or brown.

The coralline in my tank is all different colors: turquoise, brown/yellow, purple, red...

The stuff in your picture looks exactly like the coralline in my tank. I think that's all it is!

I have like 2 shades of green on my rocks and on the glass( well that was before today) and yes it acts like pink or purple when you scrub it as i can see the calcium float away

here are a couple of shots of the rear of the side glass on my 60
the green stuff does appear identical in make up and growth pattern as the purple stuff next to it

Id welcome a positive ID on it, if its not green coralline what is it?

I've got the same stuff Steve. It looks exactly like my pink, purple or red coralline and is just as hard to remove. In my experience hair algae on the glass can be scrubbed off with your finger... this stuff requires the use of a razor blade. Nothing else will take it off not even a mag float.

i might be making this up, but cant you take a scraping and drop vinegar or something like that on it and see how it reacts. not sure if its vinegar but something will dissolve calcium and not algae. ha, i klnow this is kinda vague maybe someone else will know what i am talking about

so apperently a calicium carbonate based algae should bubble c02 when vinegar is added.
