Haha. I just noticed that you can see my old goniopora and my clowns hosting it in my profile pic. They are difficult to keep but awesome specimens. Its up to you! :)

Not to get technical, but the Goni is hosting the clowns. ;D And from what I've heard, people believe this may actually be a disturbance to them, as well as Anthos also stated they are hard to keep period. Most stores I've seen selling them have a strict 'Do not return' policy as they are prone to dying simply from sight changes in water quality, be it from good to bad, or vice versa. I wouldn't go tossing out the Goby or anything, but since you already are seeing skeleton, it's probably a goner. Keep a close eye on it, and watch your ammo for spikes if it's dying too quickly. One thing I always see is that people always talk about their Gonipora in past tense. Best of luck.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
This is why we used to call it a "Rent-a-Coral".

Type of Goniopora, and feeding regime can make a difference.

So after moving to our 12 gal nano, no good news yet, but I did see 4-5 little brown spots that looked like algae, I suspended food over the goni and the spots moved like crazy, flatworms ?
I tried to grab a few but didn't want to injure the goni anymore than it it is

I wish I can get a good enough pic

So I just sucked off 3 flatworms ! Within minutes the goni started to show sign of wanting to extend let's see what tomorrow shows, I used a syringe to suck em off the ball and inside the syringe they swam like crazy till I sucked up hot water and then they were lifeless !
    I love this hobby lol
