Just a few days ago I noticed quite a lot of these green grass-like things growing out of a piece of live rock.

Can anyone tell me what they are?

its to early to tell what species it is....but what is your bioload like and whats your water quality like? with high water nutrients and lack of algae grazers, that little problem might soon become a headache.

oh, its defnately a photosynthesizing plant, maybe a grass or caulerpa....
