vinny i have kept a dragon in my 50 sq tank how over 5 years and he's beautiful, i've never bought pods but, i have kept 10 or more pep shrimp in this tank and the fish does eat mysic and brine and blood worms to he also eats the offspring of these pep shrimp they reproduce often and keep and abundance of food in the tank for him maybe this is another way to keep this fish alive in our tanks

the only thing mine will eat besides pods is live brine shrimp. I do this only for a snack though and I feed the brine shrimp phytoplan so at least they have a little nutrition. you might be able to get away with this. you will probably have to get a critter keeper with an air stone to keep the shrimp until they are ready to be eaten. also some sort of thing to suck them up with such as turkey baster or a kent sea squirt.

That is good to hear. Your tank seems large enough to sustain a decent amount of pods so I am sure this with the combination of supplemented foods is contributing to your success.Maybe you could copy this and add it to our Mandarin thread.
