Have a very large, well established tank. Lots of rock and time for pods to grow and thrive. Will most likely have to suppliment as well.

Have a well established tank that supports enough live amphipods or copepods to support his appetite, unless it accepts prepared or frozen foods. Where in Ct are ya?

Most often they come in on liverock as "hitch hikers". When there's good conditions for them to live and multiply in your tank (food, etc) they will. They just have to be reproducing at a faster rate then they are dying or being eaten. Some places online sell pods in a bottle that you can add to your system if you don't have any, say if you started your tank with dead baserock and sand.

You can also raise them in a 5 gal busket, and add them to the tank when needed. Would need some to start with though.

Ya man, the Bucket O' Pods is the best invention Pack has ever come up with ;) it works great and keeps his mandarin fat and happy!
