I got my first coral on Monday night and noticed it's a bit less green today. It's not very noticeable in the pics but I noticed more red in it today. Is this a bad sign or is it just adjusting?
Also they sold me phytoplankton to feed it, is that the correct food?

Most likely its just adjusting to your lighting. Phyto should be fine to feed it. They dont need to be fed but it wont hurt to give it some.

Could just be adjusting to the lights. Slight color changes are completely normal.
No, the mushroom will not feed on phytoplankton. If you must feed them, a little brine or even flake would do, but really there is absolutely no reason to feed mushrooms anything at all, they do fine on lighting alone.
