A day after noticing coralline growth I noticed this green neon patch showed up in a couple spots.

tough pic, but it could be green slime algae... does it wipe off with your finger? One easy fix would be to add more flow in that area.. point a power head. In the meantime, you can siphon it out during a water change...

It is a neon color though unlike the slime I have seen. I have read coralline can be green, start out green as well and it is pretty common.

I had some neon green looking patches start out on my rocks and thought "cool looking coralline" only to have it fade to a dull green color :p.

Hah. This stuff seems to have purple coralline dots all over it.

+1 to green coralline I like it, but then other colors come in and mess it up...
