The color has changed a little compared to the first pic. Still looks great though. You can see at the base that it is starting to noticably incrust now.

This second pic is to show all the encrusting in the back... it's now completely grown over all the crazy glue and getting closer to the rock. I wish I had a before picture from this angle!

Considering that it was fragged the day I got it from the LFS and there were NO polyps out at all at the store or for a good 3 days after getting it in my tank, I think it's doing pretty good :p

Acropora yongei (aka green slimer) has scale like radial coralites. This coral not so much. This has more tubular radial coralites like Acropora formosa.

Check out this growth and color on the Stag now! I think I've had it about a month and a half now give or take. In the places where it's being shaded over by it's branches etc and a spot on the base it is turning pink!! The polyps have a slight pinkish color in there too along with greenish. I love this coral!! It has now completely encrusted over the superglue used to secure it to the rock and is spreading onto the rock. Growth has finally starting taking off!! Especially since I have upgraded the tank to a 20 gallon! This thing GLOWS under blue light!!! I gotta take a pic of it under blue light sometime :p
