    its not gsp. my lfs has a bunch of this. i will ask him what it is and post a pic to see what you think. i could be wrong. you should give us a pic when the polyps are not extended.

    The edges of the tentacles do have short brown feathery things on them and it has a purple mat that it retracts into when the hermits climb onto it lol. That's the only time I have seen it closed. I will get a picture later tonight I need to change a light bulb then I'll take one. We also need to have a thread for our tank but all the pictures of it are all in different places between 2 computers, 2 iPhones, and 1 portable hard drive lol.

    it might be a green pipe organ (tubipora musica)
    that would be my geuss
    take a look at vivid aquariums thay have some of these polys

    yeah i called the store and thats what he said, pipe organ, the most noticeable difference is the lack of the little white ball in the middle of the polyp and the stalks are longer. your pic (seen on top of mine is better specimen. my pic is of a crappy frag.

    i forgot all about this thread until i was browsing the diver's den on liveaquaria and found the pipe organ then was going to post on here that we figured out it was that lol. thanks a bunch tho! k+ !!

    Its not a pipe organ its GREEN STAR POLYPS man its one of the more basic corals around to the advanced aquarist it as ragweed.
    (not true its a easy prop coral bread &butter like xenia)
    but still not pipe organ ")

    Id say GSP.... one reason only would the distinct purple base.
