Yea they are VERY easy to keep and I personally love the way they look, too. However they do tend to take over if not kept in check. Hell I just peeled some off of my kenya tree that they were LITERALLY growing onto. Just encrusting right up the flesh! It was easy to peel them off though and the kenya was no worse for wear.

take out the rock, cut some back, stick that on a piece of rubble rock and bring to the LFS for some trade in

This was my first coral and it is too easy to keep. Been growing (10 times faster than any other coral) since the day I put it in the tank. I agree that it is a pretty coral as well.

I wish I had that problem. My kenya tree coral is dropping baby colonies all over the tank (i've got one poor hermit crab that's dragging around a frag), but my GSP have stopped spreading and have pretty pathetic polyp extension lately. I know it's a frequent post, but if anyone has any miracle cure for GSP, please let me know. (not to hijack your thread!)

Cool I am definately going to get some. Spreads like wildfire, I would much rather have this stuff all over my tank than nothing. But I will be aware and try to keep it from getting on too many rocks.

I cant wait to see my tank this weekend I can only imagine what the GSP look like after 2.5mths un kept as they were raging when I left.

But if you would like to kill them off the best way would be as mentioned b4 kalk past or manual removal

one of the coolest things about it since you can superglue it, and it'll grow anywhere that gets even a small amount of light is glue this to the back of your tank, or to the return line seen this a few times here and it looks really sweet
