    Can anyone tell me a groth rate on these green star polyps?
    I just got a frag about a week ago and already its spreading and has more polyps.

    Also got mushrooms less than a week ago and
    i have 1 splitting fourways.


    Am i trippin?
    Or these things spread pretty good?

    They both spread pretty fast!

    GSPs will grow very quickly, the more light they get the faster they will grow, that's why I like to keep them at the bottom of the tank.

    Is there a chance these would grow on a dead fan coral?
    I have one thats about 2feet tall that would look awesome with these covering it

    Sure, there's no reason why they wont. Attach the frag to it for a while and once it spreads to it, remove and you're on your way to a cool gsp display.

    Amen to that, a nice colony can soon turn into a wild out break
    mine grew at a rate that was so fast I would return from a 2or3 month trip and have to re do my rock work to stop it covering all of my rock as I use it for my filtration.



    mind you that all that growth was not one week and like most corals the bigger they get the Quicker they grow:)
