Green Stipe Shroom Pics

This one goes out to Monkey . i waited a few days for them to open up some. They are still not as big as they will get, but my lights are brightere than they are used to.

 

those are very nice but my favorite, which you also have, are the purple/blue shrooms!!

 

very nice...how big are they right now? i've only got 3 shrooms in my tank and would like to get a rock of smaller ones of that species some day...

 

well in the LFS tank the biggest shroom was about 4 inches around. They take a few weeks to open fully. There is a big frilly shroom on the rock to. You can see it on the right on the rock. It is one wierd looking shroom!! I have a 5+ inch blue stirpe on the rock beside the green stripes. Shrooms are super easy to keep!! I have one in my 100 gallon with 2 18 watt NO bulbs, lol. I had to break up that rock to make it fit in my nano, and one of the shrooms fell off, so I just stuck it in the other tank, lol. I got the rock with 7 shrooms for 25 bucks!! Good luck finding some, and by the way I dont recomend putting shrooms in a tank with very low lighting, hehe. Im getting my t-5 light in this week, so im not worried about the low lights the other shroom is getting.

also, im getting a rock full of shrooms tomorrow for 30 and it has like 15 shrooms that i have never even seen before! they are green and some other color i have to check them.

You will have plenty in no time. Roaches of the sea I calls them. Not something I'd want in an sps tank either.
