Green tube

    For the last 2 weeks I have noticed this growing in my tank, is about a inch in length now. I'm assuming its some type of algae but really don't have a clue. Any one have any thoughts on what it is. The picture isn't to good because I took it when the lights were off.

    When I hear "green tube," I usually figure it's the calcareous algae, Neomeris annulata. I think that's what you have, too. You can google for some comparative pics (there are actually several different species of Neomeris).

    good call pago. thats exactly what it is . they \ it will eventually just die off. i had quite a few for the first 2 monthsw of my tank being up , and they died off after that time.
