Is this worm reef safe? Kind of cool looking.

I have no idea what that is. Do you have any corals with green tentacles like torch or a green bubble tip anemone? Interesting.

 

Yes I do but this is a worm or something like it. I have two and was watching them last night. They deflate somehow and shrink to the width of a number two pencil.

 

Most species of Nemertea (ribbon worms) are reef safe to everything but small crustaceans. In the wild, there are really large species that aren't fish safe but I've never heard of one of those being a hitchhiker.

Yes, that's a ribbon worm. They are kind of fun to watch. They look very simple when you compare them to our more common hitchhikers (polychaetes) yet they are a very complex animal.

 

i think its pretty awsume looken! so it eats small snails and crabs?
