A water changes is not a cure all with any tank. what are the waters parameters ? Nitrates Phosphates and DKh Caclium and tempatures and age of light bulbs and K value , You use carbon in the system ?

Just relying on water changes to control algae may be just feeding it ? Quality of the freshwater used to mix the salt and not to mention the quality of the salt also all are not equal. I'd get some test kits and fined out what you are dealing with . Water parameters ad quality is where I'd start

How does your water move in the tank and how is it filtered? If you're not skimming water off the surface with an overflow type system, this type of slime builds up pretty quick. Stirring the surface with a powerhead or return flow will help prevent this.

    just my 2c.

Vacuum holds the skimmer to the outlet grill.... Water dumps over the grate and into the outlet....

Very important to get on top of quick. Surface scum not only blocks available light but also reduces gas exchange...always a very critical factor in a Nano. :-/
