Hi! I'm new here (obviously) and wanted to introduce myself.
I live in North Carolina, am in my 20's, and love fish tanks.
I have a 33 gallon freshwater tank with 7 goldfish in it, and a 2 gallon with 2, one is soon going to be moved back to the big one though. The fish I know the names of: Black Moor, Bubble-eye, Black oranda, Red Cap oranda (which lost it's red... <shrugs>) Calico oranda, ... hmm. ok, a feeder fish (rescued from a toilet in college), two little guys, one calico and one red and white, and another googly eyed one. Hehe, I like the weird ones, can you tell?
I'm wanting to set up a salt water pico tank at work, and have set up a forum thread about it, any advice would be beneficial.
Um, that is about it I think, hope to talk to some of you guys soon!
    Dar

Oi, so I'm hoping I do as well, I've been talking to my friend about it tonight and he has me frustrated to the point of tears. "get this fish (only showing me fish i don't like) you need this kind of rock (at over 100 dollars for however much they are giving you) rules rules rules..."
BTW I have massive ADD... I know I need to do research, is there any place I can kind of ease into it that isn't a huge amount at once?

<feeling overloaded> and it's only my first night at even considering it...

Welcome to 3reef. Don't let your friend get you down. There is a search tab here that you can just about find anything you need here. Everyone does it different so you will have a lot to pick from. Just like driving to Florida, there is a lot of roads you can take to get to the same destination.
Ask plenty of questions here, even if you think they are stupid, because someone else may learn from it. Glad to have you aboard!;D
